Dear all,
We're not experienced bloggers, so we might be violating blog etiquette by posting this request. We also hope that you don't take this request the wrong way.
As we mentioned in our introduction to this blog, we want to openly share or life and journey here in Asia with each one of you - our friends, family and community. In the past three months of blogging and sharing our journey with people, we've also recognized that this may be a good forum to stimulate discussion, reflection and perhaps challenge in our respective lives. We also welcome those that we may not know personally to join into our virtual online community and hope that we can get to know another one day.
For those of you who know us, Sandra and I have made private and public commitments that we would share all that we have and give all that we have back to our God because we believe that all of which we have has come from Him. In many ways, our blog is the same way, but we will strive to maintain sensitivity of those parties that we share about, and in some cases even disguise their identity or withhold details.
Having said all of this, we're not ready for our blog to be searchable by Google, at least not easily! We wanted to ask that you do not link our blog to yours. We make this request knowing that some of you only reserve "friend" lists for your closest friends and we consider this an honour. We do welcome you sharing any entries or our story with people you believe may benefit from our story, but that invitation would be made in some type of a context. Our blog is not a "secret" by any extent.. (is it common to have 2,000 hits in three months??)
So.. that's our thoughts and request. We don't want to discourage people we know from coming.. We appreciate each one of you.
